I would like to switch over from my current Company Secretary to Claye Ventures. Would you be able to help?

Absolutely yes! We will be happy to liaise with your current Company Secretary to make all the necessary transfers to us, so that you can focus on running your day-to-day operations without having to worry about this.

What do I need to do in order to switch my Company Secretary to you?

It's very simple. Once you have signed our engagement letter and officially appointed us as your Company Secretary, you will need to communicate about the switch and clear any outstanding fees owing to your current Company Secretary. After that, we will take over the process and coordinate the transfer until the completion of the switch. Throughout the entire process, we will prepare all the necessary documents and guide you through step-by-step.

Is the Registered Address different from the Business Address?

Yes. A Registered Address only used to keep your company's statutory records as required by Companies Act 2016. The Company's Secretary address is commonly used as the Registered Address. Business Address on the other hand, refers to your actual premise of conducting your business. For example, if you are a cafe owner, the Business Address would be the actual location of your cafe.

Do you charge any setup fee?

Yes. We charge a once-off on boarding of RM300, which includes the setting up of a Registered Address for your company.

What is the annual renewal fee?

From second year onwards, we charge an annual renewal fee of RM160 for the maintenance of the Registered Address.

Are there any other charges in addition to the monthly retainer fee?

Yes. Below, we have listed down some of the common charges in addition to the monthly retainer fee. For other activities, we will advise accordingly.
